On August 30, 2023, Ambassador Guo Min met with the chairman of Azerbaijan Television Broadcasting Company (AzTV) Rovshan Mammadov.

Ambassador Guo Min spoke highly of the long-term friendly cooperation between China Media Group (CMG), other Chinese mainstream media and AzTV, and said that China attaches great importance to the cooperation between the media of the two countries. As a national televison company in Azerbaijan, AzTV has been focusing on the China-related directions, reporting the hot spots and highlights of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries, and has made important contributions to spreading the voice of China in Azerbaijan and deepening the friendship between the two nations. The Chinese Embassy in Azerbaijan stands ready to promote the establishment of exchange and cooperation mechanism between AzTV and more Chinese mainstream  media, so as to play an active role in promoting the high-level strategic cooperation between China and Azerbaijan in the new era.

Rovshan Mammadov fully agreed with Ambassador Guo Min’s high marks on the cooperation between the media of the two countries and pointed out that AzTV attaches great importance to cooperation with China and stands ready to further enhance exchanges and visits between the media of the two countries, explore new cooperation patterns, enrich the connotation of cooperation, provide more strength to promote mutual understanding and long-standing friendship from generation to generation between the people of the two countries.
